MEET GÄLI

I’m Magali Chemaly, the hands and heart behind Gäli Moods.

I’m a self-taught ceramicist shaping clay into unique pieces inspired by nature and roots.

Gäli started as a small corner in my life where I could breathe, create, and reconnect with my hands. What began as a personal escape slowly grew into a full-time journey that combines design, clay, and the stories that come with every piece.

With a background in interior design and years of working with spaces, I naturally shifted toward creating objects that carry both function and character. Today, I design and handbuild pieces from my studio in Sheile Keserouan, including mugs, vases, tableware, custom projects, and signature items like the Ibrik.

My work is grounded in simplicity, clean forms, and small details that make each piece feel personal. I run private sessions, workshops, collaborations, and commissioned projects, all fired in-house in my kiln (Bryan, who’s basically my coworker).

Gäli is still growing, a community, a space, a practice. And this journey is exactly what I’m proud to share.
